Contact UsFlush sash windows get their name from the fact the opening sash recesses into the frame when closed to leave a totally flush external surface. They are also known as flush casement windows.
Yes, lots. Our windows are available in a range of colours and textured foils, including several timber-effect finishes to mimic traditional timber frame windows.
Flush windows have a totally smooth exterior when the window is closed because the opening sash recesses into the frame, whereas on a casement window, the opening sash overlaps the frame. This means casement windows have a more robust seal against harsh weather conditions but don’t look as attractive as flush windows that mimic the sleek design of traditional timber or modern aluminium windows.
It all depends on the quality of the product and how well it was installed. Typically, they should last at least 20 years without needing repairing or replacing. Some cheaper products might only last 10 years, whereas premium products could last well over 30 years. Our range of windows will look great and perform like new for many years.
